Accidents can occur at any time and in any place. To mitigate the risk of unpleasant surprises, prevention is key. Introducing an innovative solution that equips children with the knowledge to enhance their safety by preventing accidents and acquiring fundamental first aid skills.

Children are the group most susceptible to accidents. By teaching them various preventive measures, adults can significantly reduce the risk. In the event of an accident, it is crucial for children to be equipped with the necessary knowledge. The Red Cross and DADA Company have collaborated to present a groundbreaking approach that teaches children how to improve their safety through accident prevention and first aid training.

Through this app, children will learn to identify everyday hazards in different settings such as home, car, park, beach, pool, and countryside. They will understand the steps to take in order to prevent these accidents. Additionally, they will gain knowledge on when and how to call emergency services and how to provide assistance for various types of accidents.

How does it work? Children can engage in simulated scenarios and witness the consequences of their actions. They will learn how to prevent falls, avoid kitchen-related cut and burn injuries, exercise caution at parks, and recognize toxic household substances. Furthermore, they will acquire the skills necessary to prevent traffic accidents, drowning incidents at beaches or pools, heat stroke, and sunburn.

This app has been developed in collaboration with the Red Cross and is intended to be a valuable resource for both parents and teachers. With its user-friendly interface devoid of text, it caters to a global audience.
